Check it out. God's wonderful gift of forgiveness comes through Jesus Christ, whether it is receiving it from God, forgiving others, asking others to forgive us, resolving anger towards God, overcoming self-condemnation, or restoring broken relationships. May God bless you richly as you learn to practice all aspects of real forgiveness.
Sins are not just wrong or bad. They are destructive by nature. Sins, whether they are the ones we commit, or the ones committed against us, can only steal, kill and destroy. They rob us of life. Sins are to the human soul like what a knife is to the body. And time does not heal. Sins also destroy loving relationships. In these video we will look at what sin is, why it is destructive, the symptoms of that damage, and our natural responses to sin that keep us from practicing real forgiveness.
Sins damage the human soul and destroy loving relationships, and time does not heal that damage. However, God does. God can heal your soul and restore broken relationships. But to do so we must cooperate with Him in His gift of forgiveness. We must learn what real forgiveness is, how to fully receive His forgiveness, how to effectively forgive others, how to sincerely ask others to forgive us, how to overcome self-condemnation, how to resolve our anger towards Him and how to, when possible, let Him restore our broken relationships. In these videos we will look at the basics of forgiveness and its many benefits.
There are two different and distinct "kinds" of forgiveness. This is because forgiveness is God's solution to a problem He calls "sin" and sins have two different and distinct problems. In these videos we will look at the two sides of the problem of sin.

The Two Sides of Sin Introduction

In the Bible, God sometimes describes forgiveness as being completely unconditional. in other places He describes forgiveness as very conditional, dependent upon the guilty person's level of repentance or the victims willingness for forgive the offender. This is because forgiveness is like a coin; it has two sides. One side of forgiveness deals with the penalty for sins. The other side of forgiveness deals with the consequences of sin. We will look at these two sides of forgiveness in these videos.
Practicing Personal Forgiveness, the forgiveness of the penalty for sins, involves working through six basic steps. In these videos we will look at these steps and develop them so you can fully receive God's forgiveness, effectively forgive others, sincerely ask others to forgive you, overcome self-condemnation and resolve anger towards God. Practicing these six basic steps is also the foundation for practicing Relational Forgiveness, the forgiveness of the consequences of sins. Beyond these six basic principles, we will look at additional steps that will deepen your experience of forgiveness, your relationship with God and your opportunities to minister to the people around you.
Practicing Relational Forgiveness, the forgiveness of the consequences of sins, involves six key principles. In these videos we will look at these six principles and develop them so you can practice them well, so you can better receive God's forgiveness for the consequences of your sins. These same principles will guide you in forgiving others of the consequences of their sins against you, if it is appropriate. And they are also the principles you will need to help you ask those you have sinned against to forgive you of the consequences of your sins.
Most people miss out on the full value of practicing forgiveness because they limit it to only a few obvious situations. However, developing a lifestyle of forgiveness opens the door for a continual, ongoing, growing experience of healing, freedom, deliverance, reconciliation and more. In these videos we will look at what you could do to develop your own lifestyle of real forgiveness, and receive all that God wants to give you.
